I like the e7/e9 combo and the e7 on its own is pretty good, if not a little bass heavy.   not a fan of their connector cables though (LOD?) i'm on my 3rd.

mine just sits on the arm of my chair. If i take it out, such as walking the dog i just take the ipod and some AKG 450s   I used to take the amp as well but i snapped the connector in my pocket and thought whats the point.
