I was using a standard 2 pin (without the bend) but because the ZS10 Pro connector sticks out, the strain relief stick up too high and the cable doesn't bend over the ear snug enough. I just use the stock cable right now. I hate how they created a new plug.

If you're pushing up the sliders on the EQ and you're getting distortion, that's not defective. You're clipping. That's why he's suggesting you lower the preamp. Now, if you're getting distortion without any EQ, than that's another issue.

You are correct. To add, if you were to use the iEMatch, you won't hear a difference based on that graph.
