    PS... I prefer USB as it sounds more "lively" and has greater depth, for most songs, Optical sounds good with electronic b/c there is not much lost over optical for techno

    I have found that when listening over optical, the sound is much "cleaner", but lacking depth, which allows small details especially in the very high frequencies to be heard that may be missed over usb. Listening over USB, sounds "dirtier", but has much more depth, which makes vocals sound much...

    PS, one other thing to note. Yes these are very involving headphones, and as such, you get tired listening to them much faster than say apple earbuds...   TO me its like driving my M3 on the limit, vs driving my dads toyota... obviously your going to get worn out much faster driving the M3!
