Head Gear Reviews by Headzone
  1. FiiO A1 Micro Headphone Amplifier

    1.50 star(s)
If I was using this with consumer headphones, I would just rate it 5 stars. It has a nice design, good battery life, quality aluminium enclosure, comes with several cables, power button 3 stage-eq, three different clips to attach it to your clothes, volume control and lastly it boosts your volume. EQ It's nearly useless. Makes the sound slow and bloated. I loved the flashing light and smooth buttons. I bet it is good on some bass light headphones, like Superlux HD668 though. It may also work differently on headphones with different impedances. SQ...
  2. Pioneer In-Ear Type Headphones | SE-CL711-K Black (Japanese Import)

    3.00 star(s)
Pioneer SE-CL711-K is a headphone with a _slight emphasis on bass frequencies.
  3. Behringer UFO202 U-Phono High-Quality USB Audio Interface with Built-In Phono Preamp

    4.00 star(s)
The Behringer UFO202 is the cheapest manufactured DA you can buy. It is free from computer noise. The headphone output is mediocre, but the RCA outs slightly better. Verdict: psychoacoustical performance is poor. The device has a plastic feel to it.
  4. Sennheiser CX300 II Precision Red

    3.50 star(s)
Great in-ear for people who like to listen to modern music. Extended bass rsepone.
  5. Sony MDR-E818LP Fontopia Ear-Bud Headphones with Acoustic Twin Turbo Circuit

    3.00 star(s)
They play music. Sound quality is mediocre. Fit and build quality is awful.
  6. BEYER DYNAMIC DT100-400BLK Studio Headphones - Black

    5.00 star(s)
BeyerdynaMIC DT100 is a studio oriented headphone and not recommended for general music listening.
  7. AKG Acoustics K240 Monitoring Headphones

    5.00 star(s)
Vintage headphones AKG K240 600ohm, would buy again.
  8. MEElectronics R1 Wooden Earphones

    4.00 star(s)
For the price of one headphone, you get a nice bass and a very nicely finished product. I would call this a good value!   Sound is bordering on average, due to slightly exaggarated bass response. (OK so they thump like hell you get the idea)   Half of the review got deleted in a car accident. sry
  9. AKG K44

    5.00 star(s)
The K44 Perception headphones include comfortable leatherette ear pads and a self-adjusting headband that allow extended wear without discomfort. They come with a 2.5m (8ft), fixed, straight cable including convertible jack plug.   Sound has little bit of headcup resonance. Too much low-mids. Bass and treble not extended.
  10. AKG K81DJ Akg Closed-Back Folding Dj Headphone

    4.00 star(s)
Sound:   AKG sound quality. The bass goes very low (30hz sine-wave still going strong). Small headcups leave them sounding a bit muffled in the soundstage.   Design: They have a very cool folding design indeed!   Overall: Offering a value for the price
  11. Superlux HD-668 B

    4.50 star(s)
They look like a cheap version of AKG K240, but the drivers are made by Superlux and sound very different.   SQ: These drivers have this good detail retrieval, that makes them good value despite their treble distortion or brightness. I would like a bit more bass.   Edit: These headphones have a newer EVO model, which has much extended bass response.
