Apple AirPods Pro And NEW AirPods Pro 2nd Gen (from 23 Sep 2022) - Impressions
First time comparison between my new APP2 and PI7 were done on an iphone - and with the ANC turned on. Now I have tried to compare them using my Fiio M6 for my PI7 and iphone for my APP2. Unfortunately I still can't get my PI7 to work with aptx-HD. Not sure if it is my M6 or my PI7 that are the...- Havre

Some good points about the PI7 after my post. I should have been more precise. Long story as I have never been able to connect my PI7 to aptx-HD for some reason (I even bought a new player specifically for it). So my comparison so far is based on a iPhone which is probably not fair towards the...- Havre

Cool. Looking forward to hear what you think. For metal/rock my PI7 seem to have a bit more punch and power in the bass. In a quiet environment I might still prefer them for that kind of music. Problem is I rarely use them for that kind of listening and with the superior ANC my guess is that I...- Havre

I didn’t expect that much reading some reviews before I got mine. I have the PI7 as well and if it hadn’t been for some obvious flaws with that products I wouldn’t have gotten the APP2. But boy am I glad I did. The PI7 are very solid in terms of sound - I thought. The APP2 are so much more...- Havre

Maybe it has something to do with the tips and fit? For me comically boosted is if anything an understatement. At least for certain type of music.- Havre

So B&W are telling us we should just accept one bud going dead while the other is not? What an odd answer. Earlier today I had 26% left in my right bud and 56% in my left. Better than the day before when my right died when there was still 50% left in my left.- Havre

Somewhat same here. At least from the case I find it hard to tell how loud they will play. From my phone it seems to be stable. From my DAP as well (haven't used that much), but at a much much lower level than my phone. Could obviously by the DAP. But it is annoying because some albums are just...- Havre

Personally I wouldn't recommend these before they have addressed at least some of the issues raised in this thread. If they could fix them all I would highly recommend these, but as they are today they are not very good overall in my opinion- especially considering the price tag. For usd100...- Havre

I wouldn't know of course, but it would be rather absurd to me if they have a standard which isn't so that two units with that standard can't talk to each other. Unfortunately I don't have another aptX-HD unit to test them on - either way - a DAP or another headset.- Havre

The question then is how does it decide which connection is available? To me it connects to the DAP when in aptX-HD, but it doesn't play. How is that possible?- Havre

Solid case as far as I'm concerned. You can move the lid slightly sideways, but I would be surprised if it caused any issues.- Havre

Fit is good for me as well. Better than the Jabra Elite Active 75t which are supposed to have one of the better fits (obviously all rather subjective). Good things about the PI7 for me at the moment is fit and sound. Everything else is not.- Havre

I would say clearly something is completely off with my buds. Obviously it can't be that a product only a couple of days old will run out of battery on the right bud while the left still got 50% left. Just adding to the list of the issues I got.- Havre
