  1. JBuds J6 High Fidelity Ergonomic Earbuds Style Headphones (Nero Black)

    3.50 star(s)
With DAC ONLY Pros: It didn’t shock me!! Average sounding headphone.  Comfortable to wear and lightweight Cons: Bass – Hey, I can hear some bass.  Quality of bass is below average. (5/10) Sharp highs – It doesn’t heart my ears but a little too sharp (5.5/10) Mids – a little bit muddy (6.75/10)     DAC & AMP (Tube) – Additional Comments Pros: Warmth of Amp flattened the sound – Highs became more bearable.   (still sound bad) Cons: Bass – became more muddy, worse sounding (4/10) Highs – became flat – 5/10 (Still muddy) Mids – very flat...
  2. JBuds J5 Earbuds-Style Headphones (Black Pearl)

    3.50 star(s)
With DAC ONLY Pros: Best sounding headphone so far.   Sounds well balanced. Comfortable to wear and lightweight Mids – Cleaner and neat – (7.5/10)   Highs – Not too overbearing – Clean but not crisp. Ok for long listening sessions. (6/10) Bass – Quality of bass is best I have heard so far - still average. (6/10)   Cons: Right earbud makes a clicking noise (that some earbuds make, when applying slight pressure to the earbud while it’s in your ear).  I notice some cheaper earbuds do this.  I think it’s the membrane inside flexing due to air...
  3. JBuds Hi-Fi Noise-Reducing Ear Buds (Black)

    2.00 star(s)
With DAC ONLY Pros: Clean light weight look and feel.  Best sounding headphone so far.   Sounds well balanced. Comfortable to wear and lightweight   Cons: 1$ more than the above earbuds. Audio sounds muffled and “echo-y”  [I am frantically checking my audio cables thinking something is wrong…. This sounds too horrible] Mids – as muddy and muffled – (4/10)   Highs – I hear them in the background. Are they there? (3/10) Bass – In basic rock songs you can kind of hear some bass… You really need to get a bass heavy song like Rap or Electronic...
  4. JBuds J4 Rugged Metal In-Ear Earbuds Style Headphones with Travel Case (Obsidian Black)

    3.00 star(s)
With DAC ONLY Pros: Tom Drums crisp and noticeable. Mids – Average (7/10)   Highs – not too overbearing (not too harsh but decent at best 6/10) It came with a pretty nice looking case. Bulky protected 3.5 covered in plastic (looks like connectors will last with some abuse) Cons: Bass – Nonexistent (1/10) I get shocked often near my ear when they are plugged in (could be because they are metal?) Connector (where to wires come together) is pretty large plastic piece and I definitely notice the weight. DAC & AMP (Tube) – Additional Comments...
