    Well, I really liked mine too until it fell apart.  At $500, it's a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. If yours fell apart after 1+ years, you would know where I'm coming from..

    Mine developed a noisy right channel after a relatively short time.  Cambridge Tech support was poor and customer support was just as bad.  This company is pennywise and pound foolish and should not be looked at as a quality audio company but rather a clueless, mediocre, greedy organization.

    My DacMagic is suddenly making high pitched noises and static

    I'm getting a constant white noise static in the right channel only, on all sources.  If I unplug everything, I still hear it in the phones. This seems like a common problem from what I read.
