What headphones should I get?

I really like Beyerdynamic and Audio Technica. I don't mind using the rMBP DAC but definitely want an amp. Any amps good for $300-$350? I like the BeyerDynamic DT 990 250 Pro's

Hey guys. I have a rMBP and I want to get a set of over the ear headphones. Definitely open ear headphones since closed gets too warm for me. Would love to get a DAC if i need one or an AMP. This will be for desktop use only. I don't need anything portable. Thx Rob

I just bought some Ultrasone Pro 900's and my iPhone 3GS and iPod 3rd gen sound terrible. Should i buy an amp for my iPod or buy the J3 and maybe amp that???? Also is it easy to drag songs from my iTunes over the the J3??

ALO used to sell them. I'm not saying they are a bad unit I just want to see what else is available. I'm also thinking of ditching my iPod and getting another music source I have no idea what to buy. I'm kinda new here
