Need to replace my lost IEMs
Hello everyone, I haven't posted here in forever, but after my last flight to India, I lost my IEMs on my Luftansa flight, which gives me an excuse to buy a new pair of IEMs! My budget is sitting around $800 but can go up to $1000. I have owned Shure 215s, Heir Audio IEM 5.0, Shure 535s, Westone...- hamshu

First time buying full sized headphones
I will be primarily using these at home. I just want to be able to hear the background noise of someone trying to grab my attention. I don't know exactly what I need for that. It would be preferable to have minimal sound leak, but some sound leak will be fine. Do you mean the...- hamshu

Looking for new pair of IEMs, Budget $500+
It's been about 2 years since I last posted on here. I recently lost my SE530s and I'm trying to find a new pair to get. My source will be varying from a Note 2, a Nexus 10, Sony SVS15, Macbook Air, and all of these will be unamped. My music will be classical, jazz, indie, classic rock...- hamshu

Shure SE535: Reviews and First Impressions Thread
Well just got them. First thing I did was popped some medium olives on after a quick trip to the freezer. Played a couple of songs so far. They sound great. I'd have them describe them as having a personal concert vs the UM3x which felt more like I was sitting in the recording studio with them...- hamshu

Shure SE535: Reviews and First Impressions Thread
If it's anything like the SE530s I will love them immediately. If it's the same sound signature then it's going to be great. Going to do some comparisons against the UM3x. Will post back with more info.- hamshu

Shure SE535: Reviews and First Impressions Thread
Bit the bullet and bought a pair off Amazon to try them out. 3.99 for one day shipping is pretty awesome. I will hopefully have them by tomorrow and I can see which one I like better and give the one I don't like as much to my brother for christmas.- hamshu

How do you care for your IEMs?
Just drop them into a cup of diluted peroxide. Leave them for about half an hour to one hour. Then, wash them out with warm water and air dry. I would avoid reusing the peroxide because it melts earwax basically.- hamshu

How do you care for your IEMs?
I would use the most diluted solution possible and let it sit for an hour or two. Then rinse and soak them with some warm water, and let them air dry.- hamshu
