Well just got them. First thing I did was popped some medium olives on after a quick trip to the freezer. Played a couple of songs so far. They sound great. I'd have them describe them as having a personal concert vs the UM3x which felt more like I was sitting in the recording studio with them...

If it's anything like the SE530s I will love them immediately. If it's the same sound signature then it's going to be great. Going to do some comparisons against the UM3x. Will post back with more info.

Bit the bullet and bought a pair off Amazon to try them out. 3.99 for one day shipping is pretty awesome. I will hopefully have them by tomorrow and I can see which one I like better and give the one I don't like as much to my brother for christmas.

Just drop them into a cup of diluted peroxide. Leave them for about half an hour to one hour. Then, wash them out with warm water and air dry. I would avoid reusing the peroxide because it melts earwax basically.

I would use the most diluted solution possible and let it sit for an hour or two. Then rinse and soak them with some warm water, and let them air dry.
