The treble looks smooth enough for nice EQ potential. Might aim for this headphone if it really is that comfortable.

I just want smooth treble and low distortion for EQing. I'm primarely buying for the interesting angle of the driver, pre-EQ FR isn't very important to me. Really wonder how these sound.

It has boosted bass up to almost 400 Hz. I perceived it as bloat/mud.

I’ve heard their other DSP DACS have issues, and the one I do own (Quarks DSP) has a quite noticeable noise floor as well as phase issues which makes it a no-go. If this one has none of that then it is pretty much perfect for my needs.
