Sony MDR1A earpads
The stock MDR1A pads are synthetic leather and they get too hot. Has anyone found cooler pads, perhaps velour or alcantara, that fit the Sony? Please describe any changes in sound. Thanks.- hadleyrille

QUESTION ONE: Does the cork sheet mod soften the treble? These phones sound a bit too trebley to my ears, and there is an overly sibilant issue as well. What are the most comfortable headphones regardless of price and sound quality?
All time most comfortable is SONY MDR-S50, seriously, not kidding, had them since the 80s, still going strong. So old that I had to replace rotted foam with cotton padding. Use them for casual listening... Someone mentioned the YAMAHA MT220: The pads are pleather so they can get pretty warm even...- hadleyrille
