Can someone recommend headphones for my mom for $50 or less? She has a $50 amazon gift card, so it'll have to be from there. She just wants them for watching movies and tv shows. 

Any other suggestions?

Hmm, ok. Could anyone recommend me any other good headphones for ~$100? I listen to music a lot, game a bit as well, but I'd rather have better sound listening to music than playing games. I have an Auzentech X-Fi Prelude sound card in my computer.

I've got a quick question to add to this, open or closed? They have both on amazon for about the same price. What are the pros/cons of both?

I'm looking for some new headphones for my computer to replace the headset I have now. I was recommended Audio Technica ATH-AD700s and AKG K240's. I saw in the sticky that they were both recommended for my price range ($70-$150). What are the differences between the two?
