How does one "update the media library" according to the firmware update instructions? Also, should I update my library after a transfer?

I'm looking for a "shuffle all" feature for external storage or internal and external. I've only had my X3 for about a month, so I might have missed it, but that seems like it would be pretty standard and easy to find feature. Apparently I'm on retard UI. It just shows 6 pictures. How do I fix that?

Just looked at a video on Youtube. It shows the same UI as yours. How do I get mine out of retard mode? Should I just reset?

What firmware is that? It looks way different from mine? Anyways, when I select "Favorites" from the main screen I get the messasge "playback failed no music found." I have OFW 3.0, the latest OFW.

I think I'm blind, but where is the database section? I have OFW 3.0.
