I use a Qudelix-5K for eq'ing my lcdi4. It has built-in PEQ. You can connect via Bluetooth or USB (if your iOS device has USB)

You can replace Audeze pads-- they're glue-on pads, so you just can't easily put old pads back on. Audeze sells the regular LCD pads on their website under accessories. I don't see the LCD-5 or MM-500 pads on there yet, but I assume they'll add them at some point.

I think Audeze can send you just the foam spacers for your 2020 pads, so you could see how they work for you and how much they change the sound. Switching to 2021 pads with/without the foam spacers would (should) definitely change the sound.

You might be able to ask Audeze support (include your LCD-4's serial number). I think they switched to 200 ohm drivers pretty early on in the life of the LCD-4, so a somewhat recent production date would suggest the 200 ohm drivers. Otherwise I think you probably have to measure it yourself. You...
