Thoughts/help/advice on new Cowon
Thanks Raketen. I'm actually up to date on firmware. Oddly, each time I upgrade the issue seems to very temporarily disappear before returning. I'm suspicious that AI volume is somehow getting involved, but I obviously don't know. You're welcome. :)- greylistener

Thoughts/help/advice on new Cowon
Apologies, I have indeed been tardy. So for before going on, I'll just clarify a few things: What follows is nothing but uneducated opinion backed with no real knowledge I'm still using my Bose QC35 cans. The vast majority of the time I use them without noise cancellation (and thus their amp)...- greylistener

Thoughts/help/advice on new Cowon
Apologies folks, I admit I forgot about this thread. In the end the R2 made the most sense to me on paper and, fortunately, it worked out in reality too. :relaxed: In terms of it being a step or a jump, I guess that's going to come own to experience and personal preference. I did come close to ordering a D2, as it seems like very good value for money and I don't...- greylistener

Is it ok to sweat with noise cancelling headphones?
Whilst not the worlds greatest cans, I had a set of Sennheiser MM550's which I used a the gym solidly for about 18 months during both cardio (bike/treadmill) and weights. They held up fine and are still working without an issue. Of course with different brands and models, YMMV.- greylistener

Thoughts/help/advice on new Cowon
Hi folks, First, apologies for any vagueness below; I'm very much new to the world of high quality DAPs, despite many, many years of listening to tunes for hours a day. I'm looking to replace my venerable Cowon J3. I still find it a fantastic player and it sees 4-6 hours of use every day, but...- greylistener
