How does the bass boost compare to the cmoyBB's bass boost?

How does the bass boost compare the the cmoyBB v2.03's bass boost?  I'm definitely a basshead, so I EQ the bass up in addition to switching my cmoyBB's bass boost on while using my already bass heavy Q40s and D2000s.  Supposedly the cmoyBB boosts up to +9 dB, while the C5 only boosts up to +6...

Has anybody tried the C5 with Denon D2000's?  I'm thinking the slightly forward mids of the C5 would go well with the slightly recessed mids of the D2000.  If you have tried this combo, how does it sound to you?

Has anybody tried the C5 with 250 ohm headphones?  I plan on buying Beyer DT250's and I need an amp that can power their 250 ohm impedance.

Since I destroyed my SR80i's, the question is should I buy another pair or look for headphones that already have killer bass without modding?  I've clearly proven my gross incompetence at modding, but I did spend money on the Bowl pads and the Dynamat.

So I pried the driver out using a screw driver, managed to get the rice out of there, and finally got it all back together.  But now that side won't work at all.  I must have damaged the wiring in the process.  Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Has anybody here taken out their driver by sanding down the little notches holding it in?  Does the back of the driver (the part we poke holes in) come apart from the front (the nylon)? 

So yesterday I removed the cloth netting and also poked 6 holes in my SR80i's, but since they were a bit wet from taking them apart, I decided to put them in rice to dry for the night before trying them out, just to be safe.  I finally got to test my freshly modded cans out today, and the bass...

I've heard that using Medium Leather pads from CDR King in the Philippines works well.  Does anybody know of an equivalent leather pad available in the US that fits SR80is?

Right now I have the stock comfies on my SR80is.  I've been reading about tape-modding the bowls, but I was wondering if I quarter-modded my comfies could I somehow also tape around them to increase the bass?  Does tape-modding the comfies work at all?

I think I'm leaning towards the JDS cmoyBB since I'm mainly concerned with increasing the bass.  The PA2V2 has the coolest form-factor, and is designed to work with lower impedance headphones (like the SR80s), but I've read that it has a brighter sound.  Has anyone tried the BSG cmoy with...
