    Help with CMoy?

I spent a bunch of time several years ago building a CMoy amp.  Sadly, somewhere in the process I screwed something up and I could never figure it out, so I never got the thing working...  Well I came across the little amp the other day and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to take a...

Thanks pars. I dont have a voltage tester good enough to put to use yet. If we cant figure anything out I'll go get one. I cleared that section of wire from the (+) side of the battery. It wasnt the problem. I cleaned up some solder on the bottom of the board, and wallah, LED lights...

Well I'll be damned. Cant figure this out. Who could I send mine to and have it checked out, and get an explanation as to what I did wrong? Is anyone providing that service?

OK! So my amp was definately blown. I went and got a TL082 (Thanks Pars) and installed it. Put my finger over it and turned it on. Got hot super quick and shut it off. Any ideas from my pics where I went wrong???

Okay! the amp was blown for sure. I went and picked up a TL082 and put it in, held my finger on top of the amp to feel if it would get hot. I flipped the switch and sure enough, it got super hot in just a moment. I turned it back off and thats where i am now. Can you guys see anything in my...

What about the L & R points on the input jack? Where on the pot do they connect? The OUTPUT? Even though they go from the input jack to the pot? I dont understand it because on the diagram theres a "l.in" and a "r.in" going from the protoboard to the pot as well. thats 4 in's! how the hell do i...

Thanks for the pics. I measured from the ground (downthe center) to chip pin 4 & 8 and got the same reading for both.... Anyone notice anything wrong with my wiring? I got the jacks from Mouser btw.

I followed tangents instruction fine until the wiring. Ive spent the last 6 hours trying to figure it out. Specifically, on the tutorial diagram hes got a "left" and a right" coming out of the IN jack. which would make me think they go to the "In 1" and "In 2". but no! coming off the...
