Am I going to have to just live with a little hiss if im using a preamp? Ive lessened it quite a bit... turned up the variable loudness knob, and the denon cd player is quieter. Anything else besides better cables i should try?

ok so no hiss from the denon cd player... its the preamp. Would it make a difference if i took a line out from the back? Instead of using the headphone out? I can actually remove the hiss i just found out by twisting the jack to a certain point, but then when the music plays it sounds...
