Actually after a period of use, I find there is something missing that I loved from the T1s without mod. Perhaps it's the slight sparkle or the airiness, but I have just reverted back to unmodded T1s to see how it goes since I'm now pairing it up with a tube amp instead of SS amp.

Well it definitely drives them loud enough, I need to turn the knob slightly more than I need to with my HD600s.   On low gain (standard setting), I have it around 10-11o'clock, whereas the HD600s were 8:30-9:30.

Wow, what a big difference.   The sound is much more laid back and less in your face. I felt like a took two three rows back from the stage though. The sibilance is definitely cut down though some still occur from time to time on some recordings.   I was a little confused what was 'in...
