I always used to hate country, then somehow got into it after hearing 'Horse Called Music' on the radio, so got into Willie Nelson...then Randy Travis.........and gradually got into the genre. I got into Rap through Gorillaz, who I always loved, then I investigated the solo stuff/collaborations...

I like The Bends and OK Computer in doses, but I get sick of them fairly quickly. My album of the 90s would probably be Urban Hymns by The Verve. Or maybe What's The Story Morning Glory by Oasis (better than Definitely Maybe, no matter what anyone says)

Rhapsody - Dawn of Victory. As long as you have decent tolerance to cheesey lyrics, they're loud, proud, and very exciting.

Someone mentioned Elvenking, I cannot recommend them enough. I like a similar mix of bands to you, and their album Heathenreel completely blew me away. It may be hard to find a copy (try ebay), but its definitely worth it.

Looking at this, most people seem to prefer the first half of the album.

WHAAAAT? Why is everyone voting for Fitter Happier? It's by far one of the best on the album! Electioneering is probably my least favourite, though I often skip Climbing Up The Walls as well. My favourite? Exit Music (For A Film). Spine-chillingly brilliant.
