Sennheiser HD360 Pro = PX360?
In Canada, Futureshop is having them on sale for $69.99 at the moment. I bought a pair but I am hesitate to open them because Futureshop has a strict no return policy due to hygenie reasons (in my opinion, its a stupid made up rule used to block people from returning the products). Would...- gilsont

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread
Hiya, Personally I think I prefer the UE6000 because it is more neutral. Dont' get me wrong, I enjoy the AKG sound signature of emphasis treble which reveals a lot of detail in the music but UE6000 for me is more relaxing. And at home, I rarely have listening sessions now, I only listen to...- gilsont

Why are the Etymotic MC5 so inefficient?
I recently purchased the etymotic MC5 and found them to be surprisingly inefficient. I read the specs of the headphone at 16ohms and 100db. However, when compared to the other IEMs I own, these MC5 requires twice the amount of volume to sound even with my other IEMs which are similar in...- gilsont

I don't think one needs to go that in-depth with the word bass; especially the difference between mid-bass and sub-bass. Bass should be taken as is, when you hear it, you know it is bass (e.g. you would not call mid, bass) I can make an argument that, what defines sub-bass...- gilsont

New Beyer DT1350
Here's my take on the bass: I agree, it is quite neutral sounding. But it is not bass light - at all. I might even say it is a bit north of neutral. Comparison: Q701 = south of neutral (bass light) K550 = neutral DT1350 = north of neutral BUT of course... when comparing DT1350 to...- gilsont

Could I get some help with these headphones? The rivet have become really loose, before I could adjust them so the earcups do not lean on the back of my ear. But now the rivet is loose, its hurting my ears... Anyone know how to tighten the rivet without sending them to beyerdynamic? It...- gilsont

Advantages of On-Ear compared to Over-Ear and IEM?
That's actually a really good point! I always think from the audiophile side of things, maybe in the consumer world people do want on-ear just because it is smaller (even though its not that much smaller, a little bit counts I guess!)- gilsont
