I'm pretty new to DAPs so please be gentle. Why do people use another amp to pair / stack with DAPs? is the amp inside the x5 not strong enough? Is it noisy?

  When i try plug the 6N13S tubes in, the LED light on my transformer and the buck converter nearly turns off (like power is being drawn heaps) and emitts a very high pitched sound. When i plug the 6SN7 in the same adapters, the LED lights just dim a little and slowly goes back to full...

Looking on buying the NFB-29H but got a question.    is the RCA out at the back a pre amp out?  I am currently using the Fiio e17 + e09k stack for solid state which pre amps out to my Modded Little Dot mk3. 

  If you are planning on using 6SN7 as powertubes then yes you need an external heater.
