DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread

Mogami is way too thin, I'm looking for each strand to be near 14 gauge. :-) I can see the picture didn't work, but if you look at this cable: The cable is quite thick, and that's what I want. :-) I was thinking twisting them, but I don't think it will hold shape if 14 gauge.

Looking for COMFY HEADPHONES for PC use.

Hello,    Beyerdynamics DT-series are extremely comfy, the huge velour pads are great! If I was you, and had the thought of buying a pair of Beyerdynamic DT-xxx headphones, I would buy and amp, the Fiio E10 or E11 are great for the price. I havn't heard the 32 ohms versions of any of them...

Looking for COMFY HEADPHONES for PC use.

Hello,    Do you have an DAC/AMP or do you plug them directly into your PC?  As Franzdom says, the DT-series would probably suit you well - I would take the DT880 or DT990, because of the larger soundstage they can provide because of the open cup - But all of them are great!  But.. They...

Some new pictures of my current work! I really like my DT770 - one of the drivers went poof, so I replaced them both with a pair of HD555 drivers, and they sound awesome! The only issue is the bass are on it's minimal, so I have to mod some more bass into them.. ;-)           There's...

    DIY Cable Gallery!!

Love the color choice of paracord! But the jack plug kinda ruins the full picture, perhaps a black plug would be better?   But just a little heads-up on you pictures.. You should expand the focus(?) Dno what it's called in english.. But you pictures could be magnificent if we could see more...
