Denon AH-D9200 - 2018 Flagship - Impressions Thread
I had the 9200 and the mids on some songs were way too much for me, almost to the point that they sounded bloated and distorted (to my ears anyway) no matter the source. I was lucky enough that I managed to swap them for a pair of MK2 and I couldn't be happier. I do like a V shape sound anyway...- gerbi

Denon AH-D9200 - 2018 Flagship - Impressions Thread
I have mine up for sale. I find the mids too forward for my taste. Can sound "muddy" in some songs, IMO. I only have a few hours on them, but the TH-600 and the AT WP900 that I currently own sounded good to me from the first listen.- gerbi

I have purchased these headphones from Minidisc just over a month ago. After the initial enthusiasm of having a flagship pair of headphones I started to go back to my Fostex TH-600 and, for some reason, I still prefer that sound signature. Since I can't return them (passed the 21 days policy)...- gerbi

Sennheiser IE900 Review, Measurements, & Harman Target Talk
Hello everyone. I've added the IE900 to my collection yesterday and like many of you I've struggled to achieve a good seal. The silicon tips provided are way too thin for such a shallow earphone. Luckily I've kept a stack of ear tips from my discarded earphones durin the year and I had some fun...- gerbi

SONY NW-ZX500
Thank you all for the feedback about battery life. As I don't think I will get much use out of the online capabilities of the 500 I think I will go for the WM1A and enjoy a better battery life. Cheers.- gerbi

SONY NW-ZX500
Could anybody please share their experience with battery life with this player? I don't think I'm going to use the online functionality (not sure yet) so I was considering the NW-WM1A as an alternative and also for its long battery life. I normally use a pair of IER-Z1R earphones. Thank you.- gerbi

SONY IER-Z1R
Well, mine arrived yesterday and...WOW...I'm glad I returned the Atlas! The Sony are brighter (to my ears) and they remind me of the sound of full size cans rather than just in ear. They are indeed massive and fitting is a bit challenging. At the moment I find the comfort foam tips to be the...- gerbi

I did have a listen today and I was very impressed! I was able to return the Atlas so I'm double happy! I found clearer trebles that I expected (probably even more than the Atlas); listening to Private Investigation by Dire Straits they reminded me of my Fostex TH-600 (to my ears anyway) which I...- gerbi
