Schiit Jotunheim 2 - Impressions Thread
I can also say that Sundara is great with Jotunheim 2. With other amps at times I found the treble fatiguing. Something about Jot2 smooths that out while making the whole headphone better. Clear and fast bass, more engaging. While there are other headphones that do certain genres better, I go...- GBechz

Mad Dog Pro: a review
Could you expand upon this? I have the standard Mad Dogs (3.2) and was considering the upgrade to Pro. As someone who has experienced both, how could you describe the differences?- GBechz

The Schiitstorm: Next-Gen Magni 2 and Modi 2 Family!
What are people's preferences for the rubber feet that Schiit includes with the small stack products? Using all 4 in corners, three as in the picture below, or something else entirely?- GBechz

DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread
Thank you. Yeah, I don't own a DMM or a solder pump, and didn't want to mess it up. If I start making more than 1 cable every 6 months maybe I'll invest.- GBechz

I wanted to ask here before I solder this incorrectly; does anyone have experience with this style? Which connection is right and which is left? Or you can use TRS nomenclature if you prefer.- GBechz

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
As much as I love my Modi, I had been considering a Bifrost USB for a while, if only for greater versatility. Modi 2 Uber solves this. I am hoping for more trickle-down from Schiit. Magni 2 (Uber) is a good example of this as well. I don't need a gain switch or preamp output, but it is great to...- GBechz

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Interesting. I like it. It visually makes it look like they have more products. Based on the updated categories, I wonder if they will put Fulla in the USB Interfaces section or create a new category.- GBechz

DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread
That is what I have seen, yes, but I thought the shield was there for shielding RF and such. There are plenty of braided cables around (Mogami, separated cat 5, etc) that don't seem to have a shield, just a wire inside a jacket. I was wondering what are the potential drawbacks/benefits to this...- GBechz

DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread
Hey guys. I rarely post as I usually find that someone has already asked the same question. But this time likely due to the use of improper search terms I cannot find a good answer to my question. I am looking to make a 3.5mm to 1/4" TRS cable for Mr. Speakers Mad Dogs. I sent a PM to this...- GBechz

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I'm intrigued by TheShow Newport tease. I have a few friends who recently moved out there and was thinking this would be a good opportunity to attend an audio show for the first time. But Jason, Alex, or whomever this concerns, I was just on TheShow's (mediocre) website and noticed that Schiit...- GBechz

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
On the subject of the most recent chapter, I was planning on getting Magni/Modi when a certain Vali review appeared on this site. I decided on Vali instead. Ultimately, I was not entirely pleased and got a Magni later and prefer it. But I'm glad I tried both and it has helped me learn a lot...- GBechz

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I once did framing/drywall/insulation work with a "Ten Thumbs." I ended up having to redo most of his work, which in his opinion was "good enough."- GBechz

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I agree with this. I have wanted to start listening to my dad's vinyl collection for a while now and with some new Schiit and the U-Turn Orbit I may finally be able to get into decent sounding vinyl without breaking the bank. On the subject of applications and experience, this is something I...- GBechz

U-Turn Orbit
Hello all, I was wondering if people have experience with the U-Turn Orbit Turntable. Specifically, cartridges. Could anyone please describe differences between the entry-level Audio-Technica cartridge and the AT95E? Also a comparison to the Grado Black1. I guess this isn't necessarily just for...- GBechz
