    AKG K812 Pro

I was fairly disappointed in the AKG K812 but glad to see AKG re-entering the high-end flagship headphone market. I didn't think they were too bright, but didn't think they had the dimension that HD800s or HE-6s have. I like them a lot more than the T1 or LCD-2, but thought AKG could have...

The S.E.X. is a criminally underrated amp. I was down at the SF Head-Fi meet a couple years ago and it was by far my favorite for both the HE-6 and AKG K1000s. The power it produces is incredible and it just exudes synergy. You will see more benefit on the HE-6, but the HE-500 is very similar...

Oh, I forgot to mention, I can probably bring my Woo Wa7 Fireflies if anyone is interested. Wasn't planning on bringing it. It'll probably be for sale as well as it isn't quite the perfect match for my current collection of cans.

I suppose I can do it. I ship things daily. How big are they? I'm also close with the Bottlehead people so I can ensure they get give proper treatment.

My friend has an adapter. I don't think there is too much degradation in the signal.

You know, I am not positive. I believe so... I'll have to check out the site to make sure what they look like. The bass tuning is so an element with these. So far, the bass is slightly overwhelming bit I think the right amp can balance it out. I'm liking the mods and higher range so far.

    AKG K812 Pro

Two completely different headphones. Some similar qualities but the K1000 is a beast of its own. The K812s do not accentuate the highs as well as the K1000s or HD800s (with proper amp). Again, the K812s are kind of a chameleon. I would say it has some similar qualities to the K1000s and some...

    AKG K812 Pro

I got this headphone before reading much into the specific technical details. I've owned the AKG K1000s for a long time and thought it was about time that they came out with another flagship headphone. After receiving these, I was very confused why AKG would make a headphone with portable...
