  That thread should answer your question regarding how to do the swap.  You have to punch the screw out and widen the hole with a small file or a drill with sanding bit which is what I did.  Be careful though.

Still hear the interference with both Tidal and Spotify after the latest updates...  bummer!  Using balanced 2.5 and normal gain.

Unfortunately running Tidal app has audible distortion and its also the case when you play offline content from Tidal. I checked. Try setting the gain low to soften the hiss, that's what I did and helped a little. Hopefully they'll come out with an update to fix the issue.

Yeah, I also had the headband cushion as well but I think since I have a pretty big noggin that changing to the he560 headband improved my comfort level with the cans.

Originally I also thought about buying the HE350 for the headband to do the swap but someone here enlightened me on buying the HE560 headband direct from HIFIMAN which only costs $50 including shipping.  I just completed the swap which took about 45 minutes to do.  And as they say, it is night...

I still get static at low gain with my iem's using balanced cable. It was way worse set on high gain where it was really distracting and that's with both tidal and Spotify regardless of playing online and offline music.
