Thanks I went ahead and picked up some 440's. I figured if they don't workout I can always re sell them and get the 840's. 

I'm down to the 840's and the 440's my only issue now is that I'm not sure if I should pay the extra 50 or so for the 840's. I read the 840's aren't ideal for use with mp3 players without an amp. Can anyone give any input on this? Is it worth the price difference? Thanks
