I don't get that at all.

You don't "have to" remove anything if you don't want to if you like the tuning, and they're not broken, just tuned differently from the 800 or 800s. It's just everyone expected a cheap 800s, and freaked like they where robbed at gunpoint when it wasn't, and never was stated that it was.

Where did I say at all that it's ok for a product to break down, especially within 45 days? But, it happens on occasion. My Audeze LCD-1 cans pooped the bed on the 2nd use, one of the drivers quit working. So I know how it feels. And yes, it takes time for this stuff when the products are made...

Whatever they use, I am not a fan, I can tell you that. Just as long as they keep working, I will not complain (too much, lol).

Whatever you do, just pull them out with a straight motion, they do have a strong hold and take some muscle to get them out. After a few times they seem to come out a bit easier, but still need some effort, must have strong magnets to hold them or something, because they don't really click together.
