I got to try the universal version at their shop in Hanoi last week. They remind me of the 64 Audio U12 Adel but with a more organic/natural sounding bass. Like the U12 these have just a bit too much bass for my taste not that it overwhelms the mids, the bass is just a bit too boosted for me. I prefer the 64 Audio U10 profile. That said, they did sound really great. The mids and highs were nice with nothing missing, the highs were nice and crisp. Back to the bass, it was not bloated nor muddy, I was hearing things from Tony Levin's stick and bass...
