Just buy some 4tc speaker cable secondhand, that gives you four strands of pbj ready platted, just unwind 45cm and retest into pairs. After doing a continuity test to determine the correct pairs. Some fancy braid, heat shrink and connectors then sit back with a big silly grin

My cable came from Russ Andrews in the uk. It looks like four lengths of pbj platted going to twisted pair for last 45cm. If you order the bare cable, remember to add half as much length again as required due to the tight platting. I stripped this from another set of phones and completely...
