NAD 3020 vs NAD 1020A?
Well, I've bought it... Together with a 2150 amp with a blown fuse, defective cassette deck (6050C) and a 4125 tuner. All for about $120. I think it's a good deal. But we'll see when I get it... I don't like what I hear about the DT770's, though. Hopefully they'll perform better with my...- Freddi

NAD 3020 vs NAD 1020A?
Yes, it is the preamp only. I plan on using it as a headphone amp together with a tt, so the main questions are if the phono in and headphone out are as good? Are they exactely the same except for the amp bit?- Freddi

NAD 3020 vs NAD 1020A?
Anyone know how the 1020A holds up against the classic 3020? I've gotten the opportunity to buy a 1020A for next to nothing, but I don't know much about it...- Freddi

Receiver as phono preamp and headphone amp
Came across a few Tandberg, but none of the ones you specified. I have no Idea if these are any good. Haven't done much research on Tandberg yet... I guess I should, being from Norway and all. Am I allowed to make a list like this? I hope so... TANDBERG TR 1040A(AM-FM STEREO...- Freddi

Receiver as phono preamp and headphone amp
Thanks for the reply, guys! I didn't know preamps have headphone line out... so that's how much I know, for ya. I'll look into the preamp market here, but my hopes are not that big. Yesterday I did some searches for Fischer, Marantz 22xx, McIntosh and Sansui. Results: nada. So this...- Freddi

Receiver as phono preamp and headphone amp
I'm going to make use of my mom's old turntable soon. I'm thinking of setting up a small vinyl listening station and need some advice. I've been checking out some cheapish new phono preamps (Cambridge, NAD) and was going to buy one. I was planning to connect it up to my surround receiver...- Freddi

Anyone recognise this old headphone?
I've been doing some research and I see them going for about $30 over here. So I guess they're not considered that interesting for collectors either...- Freddi

Anyone recognise this old headphone?
Can't find any better pictures of them. I think the auction is over. It said that they were probably used with a crystal radio. With means really, really old in my book.- Freddi

Anyone recognise this old headphone?
Good thing I asked about them then... I was thinking of cancelling my long awaited DT770's. Would be fun to check out the sound in them anyways. Would probably sound horrible!- Freddi

Koss Portapro problem
I'll try and clean it first. I have a long history of breaking things, so I have to convince myself it's safe... On the Koss norwegian homepage it says that the warranty can not be claimed without the original receipt shown. And that the headset should be delivered in the store they were...- Freddi

Koss Portapro problem
The left phone on my portapro has started making some "scratching" sounds sometimes. Mostly on prominent bass. It goes away by itself after a while. The headset is maybe 6 years old, so the receipt is long gone. Koss won't fix it for free without this. Maybe some of you know what the problem...- Freddi
