I just noticed something just now sir. It plays well upright tilt, sideways both left and right and face down. It wont play flat face up and forward downward tilt

Is it not the same resistance values for the pots in every D-303 sir? Do they vary? Because if they are just the same across all D-303s, then maybe a helpful fellow could get his 303s values and share it here

This is the photo when i lift it up in front only like tilting a bit and it plays well. But it distorts and make noises when i put it down flat. It seems it is trying to read the cd. The one with track time is when i lift it up a bit. The one with blank screen is when i put iy down flat.

Sir i am very thankful that i have you here helping me out. It's been 4 days now that i am dealing with my D-303. I am again with my D-303, opened it up and just staring at the pcb. I do not know where to start

But sir... Do you have an idea what pot to adjust for the tilting problem and the not reading the first 5-7 songs? I do not want to mess all 5 pots. It is more dificult to guess their combination settings. I am guessing that those 5 pots are in sync with each other.

I do not have access to an oscilloscope sir. Do you think i can guess the adjustment by trial and error? I will make very very small turn each time then try if it will play. I will continue the process until i complete the full rotation of the pot

Thank you sp much sir. Wait let me show you my 2 discmans. I opened the d-303. I will try to adjust the pots (RV501-RV505) using trial and error method. I have lots of patience i guess. Like one very small turn on the pots then try and so on. Do you think that will be enough sir?
