Thank you Teiki Arii.   I know there are different plugins available (e.g. Audirvana) so I was interested in learning if different plugins lead to different results with the latency when switching from DSD > PCM and PCM > DSD.

I forgot to mention that I only have a mac so I my question above applies to setups with a mac (and which plugin do you use to play DSD?)   Thanks!
