Westone UM3X announced!
The "X" refers to the crossover (in this case, 3X refers to triple crossover), just like the "X" in the ES3X. Quote: Originally Posted by mark2410 btw i take it no one from headfi has been allowed to hear the um3x (btw what the fcuk is with the x, really couldnt they just be called...- foamposite

Do you test headphones before you buy?
I walked into Jaben, mind made up and all set to buy the UM1s, then uncle Wilson told me to try them out first. It further supported my decision to get the UM1s. Loving every moment of it. No regrets getting it (with the budget that I had back then) :P- foamposite

The Westone UM1/UM2 Appreciation Thread
I'm enjoying every moment of my UM1s with the bi-flanges, though I find it rather troublesome to wear them properly when using the bi-flanges, so as to get a better seal.- foamposite

CrossRoads MylarOne X3, XB, and Classic Owners Club
The blue bands on the X3s look cool! Happy to see so many fellow X3 owners here sharing their experiences. My X3s rock to the max! I use them on days when I'm lazy to wear the bi-flanges for my UM1s- foamposite

Difference between DTX900/800/700?
Having tried the DTX 700 and the DTX 900, I personally could not tell the difference between these 2. I went for the cheaper choice (naturally ) One rule of thumb I was told: if you cannot tell the difference, go for the cheaper option. However, I tested both earphones on my iPod nano, so...- foamposite
