Just an update for anyone anxiously awaiting news about the USB-DAC functionality... I emailed iBasso about another question, but also asked about the next firmware. Get your hopes up, because their response was:   "Yes, we will release the USB-DAC driver for the DX50 after 2~3 weeks."  

Has there been any news about when the next firmware is being released?   I know good things come to those who wait... But I've been anticipating the USB DAC feature since I bought it last year. Getting even more excited now that the DX90 has been released, which was supposed to coincide...

  Well, if you don't mind a bit of work, then plug the DX50 (with the memory card in it) into your computer, and delete the audio_data folder from your memory card as well as the album_img folder from the DX50's internal memory. Your DX50 should rescan the entire card once you eject it from...

 Ah yeah, so the artwork, like Sorensiim said, is probably the problem. My artwork folder on the DX50 is over twice yours.   Oh well, an hour of scanning is such a small price to pay when you get high quality music afterwards!

Quick question for anyone with a music library containing more than a few thousand songs: What kind of scan times are you getting?   I have 6500 songs in my library, mostly AAC and MP3, and a small amount of ALAC. All tags are clean, and no extra files are on the card. Yet, my scan time is...

I'm just curious as to why the loading is even necessary. By the looks of it, the player is building the list every time you navigate to All Music, or change the sorting options. Wouldn't the RAM be big enough to hold the built list? I'm assuming that would speed it up, without taking too many...

Does anyone else experience slowdowns when looking at All Music? I just received the 64 gig SanDisk Ultra card that I ordered, and loaded up my library consisting of over 6000 AACs ALACs and MP3s. When I go to All Music, or change the sort mode in All Music, it takes about 10 seconds to load...
