Seeking Advice on Replacing Etymotic 6i IEM
You mentioned that sound wasn't coming from one side. The ER6i has filters (my daughter has a set) that can be get clogged. If you change those out you might actually fix the sound in the one side. If that isn't it, or you want a replacement/extra anyway you might look into the newer Etymotic...- Flounder

Audio Technica ATHCK7?
I have the CK7s and I like them alot.Infact they make me want the CK10 or CK100now since they are so clear. Good highs and pretty good bass, midrange is overwhelmed by them though. Not a flat signature IMO. I'm comparing them to my ER4s, MC5, and Coppers if that helps. I don't have the RE0...- Flounder

Etymotic ER4P - next upgrade?
i was in the same boat as you where the cable on the left side went. I bought a few other earphones, thanks to this site (not a money savings discovery). One of the earphones I purchased that had an equivalent sound sig was the MC5 and for the price, it comes very close to the ER4. Ultimately...- Flounder

Do i need to get another headphone carrying case? Monster Turbine Pro Copper
I recently bought some Coppers as well because i like a balanced sound and am very happy with them. The tips that come with the Monster headphones are pretty good already, but there are a few threads in here on different tips. Again, its a preference thing dealing not only with sound, but...- Flounder

Etymotic Research ER6i
I personally like the Etymotic IEMs, but they do lack in bass if you tend towards a lot of bass in your music. If you are willing to spend more $150 get the ER4P instead. I've heard you can sometimes find them on sale for a price that would be below $150. I have both the 6i and the ER4P, as...- Flounder

What are replacement for ATH-CK10 ?
Cool, I'll go check it out. BTW, they also have had some on ebay for around $260 (but without shipping added and located in Japan). I've been comtemplating it but have had bad experiences on buying out of country stuff through ebay/half.com.- Flounder

Hello all a Noob in need of advice on noise isolating ear buds.
I'm new here as well. However, I might be able to provide a portion of your answer. Is your list is in order of preference? I've had a pair of Etymotic ER4 earphones for a few years now and will say they isolate very well. They probably don't fit your heavy bass requirement (although I feel...- Flounder

New to canalphones/IEMs - need some advice my shortlist
Hello, I've been revisiting IEM's recently and found ljokerl's review thread helpful: http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/478568/multi-iem-review-102-iems-compared-meelectronics-m11-and-hippo-shroom-added-09-01 As others have suggested, perhaps you could get either the RE0 or something...- Flounder
