Miami checking in... been a loooooooooooooong time since I've been to a meet!

would love to go, last couple meets I always have a work issue at the last moment

things are good man, things are good, honestly losing the job was the best thing to happen to me... had some time to refocus on what I want in life... one of the things was I stopped listening to gear and started listening to music ;)

hah well you were one of the guys I was referring to so there's at least one! I kind of dropped out, lost my job a while back, been doing consulting work and mostly the hobby began exceeding my tax bracket ;)

It's been a long time since a meet I think... would be nice to find some of the old FL members if they are still around

problem with those pencil tubes with the shared heater is they are only rated for like 100~ hours of operation

usually you put an opamp to isolate it from your signal and adjust gain   0db should be a 1khz sinewave at 1V peak to peak IIRC    

ya I tried to go to that one but alas, was out of town for something else...   if I had a space I would try and organize one, although I kind of lost interest a couple yeas ago, but since I finally fixed me HE-60's I will probably getting sucked back in to the deep end again soon enough lol

we have not had a proper so.fla meet in a long, long time...   they used to be some of the larger ones too

its been a while... no more SoFLA meets?   think the last one I went to was 2~ years ago??
