what to do now...?
I did a quick google search on ruby X3i's and I found this. It gives an example of re-cabling the X3i's and so if you are up for it that might be a solution.- Flammadeao

Recommendations for my funny ears...
On that note, you can also get some custom sleeves made for your earphones. If your ears don't like those then you've got some serious problems. Also, if you do get custom sleeves then you can change them out as you change your IEMs (assuming you maintain ones with similar tubes like elnero said.- Flammadeao

Coupon Code / Promotional Code for Earphone Solutions?
no I do not, and I know I'm not exactly helping your case, but I would refer you to soundearphones.com who have some promotions going on right now. They also have some pretty kick ass customer service....- Flammadeao

SA6 with cracking sound
well, in answer to your question I think that you are going to have to decide the worth for yourself. If you are perfectly happy with the headphones right now then great, stick with them. If you constantly go over 90% and this will bug you then send them in. If it were me I would probably...- Flammadeao

Hearing damage?
What would be a good way for people to check for a proper seal? If they do get a good seal, then where to go from there? How do they know what level to stay below? As far as damages go... If I remember correctly there is/ was way to decrease the max output of an ipod in order to limit it. If...- Flammadeao

Why do people spend so much on canalphones when they can just buy Livewires/Freqs?
Purely out of curiosity, what do you say about the Sleek Audio Customs? From what I've heard, they don't advertise them, but you can e-mail them and ask for them. In addition, you can use the same bass/ treble +/- configuration that you found you liked in the SA6s.- Flammadeao

Sound Quality Degredation Via Speakers
Bummer, So I suppose then my best bet would be to see if I can find some extension for my headphones from my computer and bypass the speakers until I can get some halfway decent ones.- Flammadeao

Sound Quality Degredation Via Speakers
Yeah, that's what I was curious about - whether it would be changing the sound in any way, or if it would merely be acting as an extension.- Flammadeao

Sound Quality Degredation Via Speakers
Alrighty, so to start off... I'm using integrated sound, which I can only imagine is a big no no, but beyond that.... I'm currently using some cheap ass crap speakers that are pretty sad, but I intend to get the Sleek SA6s sometime in the very near future and will be plugging them into the...- Flammadeao

Request: I want shorter cable option!
from the sound of things he's already seen those - he just doesn't like how exorbitantly long the cord gets with the added cord from the adapter... I'm really stilll on the DIY approach, I think that if given enough time you can add in that adapter to a cord and still make it look good -...- Flammadeao
