Streaming for about 40 minutes from tidal with IEMs mine stayed around 35c

I only played music from the device using hiby music and it stayed lower than 35c. I was also using IEMs with a DSP cord.

I reformatted it in the device as portable. It fixed the issue.

It asked to format it and then it gave me the option for using on only the phone(R4) and for transferring files back and forth. I am using a sandisk ultra plus 256gb

The sticker on the back said green but I was worried before hand about opening it just in case it was wrong and i needed to return it.

Glad I wasn't the only one. Got me out here feeling foolish.

My quiet-therm-adc temps are staying under 33C so I think I am good on the heat issue. I am a little confused with storage though. Once my micro sd is formatted my pc does not recognize it. That's fine, I will transfer via usb. I do this and it seems to put files internally, that's fine too...

@Joe Bloggs I was sent the wrong color? What do I do? Edit. The box is orange but the sticker says green.It is in fact green. Disregard.

@Joe Bloggs my unit arrives in the next couple of days. Is there a recommended way to stress test the R4 for heat? What is the acceptable temp range?

My unit has finally hit the states. My concern continues to grow the more I watch this thread.

I am glad I came across this thread. My unit is still in transit. Hoping I do not have an overheating issue when it gets here.
