I had the version 1 v-moda vibes until the cabling split apart. To replace them, I got the UM1's. So far, my impressions is that the vibes sound slightly better with a wider frequency range. The UM1's are still too warm for me and I wish they had better and more extended highs.

Hey, I was wondering if it's okay to plug in amplified computer speakers into the mini-jack of a headphone amp. Would this damage anything? I ask because it's convenient if I can switch headphones and speakers in and out of the amp.
