Anyone know where they are actually made/manufactured? (Denmark?). The photos don't show any labels. Maybe these photos are of pre-production versions.

Not sure if this helps -- I have the older HP-A3 and it works beautifully with my MacBookPro (2012 version with USB2), running MacOS El Capitan. No drivers needed. Plays very nicely with Roon.

When are these new Stax products going to be announced?

I'm not good with words, but the music sounds more natural. Piano, guitar violins sound like the sound in real life. Even muffed bass drums sound like actual muffed drums.

So its been a couple of days with my newly acquired Stax SRM1/mk2 and SR Lambda Pro.  Just love that Stax sound -- can't believe how good these vintage gear sound.   There is no going back now, I'm a Staxinista :-)

Thanks Michgelsen -- I'm going to check-out that website.   I'm trying to understand if these transformer boxes are worthwhile to pursue, or if I should just save money and go for an amp proper.  I'm currently negotiating to buy a vintage SRM1/mk2 amplifier.

Could someone please edumecate me regarding the "SRD-7 Spritzer modified" ? I'm reading through various Stax threads and stumbled upon that sentence.

Does anyone here have experience buying from an approved Dealer in Japan (lots listed on the Stax.co.jp site) and then exercising the warranty etc with that Dealer (e.g. shipping to Japan, and getting it back to the US).

Newbie question: who are the authorized STAX dealers in the US (who buy from Stax Japan instead of from Yama)? I've purchased through PJ before (very satisfactory), but that was a couple of years ago. Sad to see they're non-performing.
