I was going to get a cheaper tube amp like the Vali but I decided that if I'm going to get a tube amp I might as well go big so I'm saving a bit more to get something like the WA6 so let us know how it sounds with the HD600.

Also does the X5 have gapless, its not a deal breaker but with some of my electronic music they're tracked but mixed so if it has gapless I don't have to join them together which saves time.

I'm really thinking of getting one of these but the 28mW @ 300ohms I don't see that being enough to power my HD600 sufficiently. Does the X5 work well and sound good while using an external amp for more power?

  I think you'd like the TDK BA200, to me it sounds a lot like the HD600. Its a dual BA with nice bass but not bloated and the mids are really nice and highs are smooth but detailed, all in all its a very balanced IEM imo.
