In what directions should I adjust the EQ for a more laid back / light experience with emphasis on vocal for pop music? I have Cowon D2 with UE super.fi 5 and I feel myself quite 'heated up' when listening, the music themselves are rather soft.

I am considering the iAudio 7 or the D2 with an external mic as suggested, will that work well enough?
