RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
This is from memory, but I felt the Tazzy was a bit more laid back and easier to listen to with both HD800 and Pioneer SEM1. Not sure why but I felt the amp in the Tazzy was holding it back. If the amp had more "powa" I probably would have kept it. I have an old Audio GD NFB-10SE, the DAC was...- f1r3fly

RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
This was my second go-around with the ADI-2. I had it, liked it, but the interface to get into the functions are not that friendly. (The superb manual helps but I am too lazy to pull it out every time). So I went to a Sony Tazzy. While I liked it and the build quality was superb, recently...- f1r3fly

Pioneer's First Hi-End Headphones: SE-Master 1
Finally got to listen to the SEM1 through the balanced connector. A couple of issues I had with the stock cable was that it was way too long for my use case which is desktop. Also, as careful as I am with the cable, there were a couple of areas where the cloth wrap was separating. Luckily this...- f1r3fly

Rank the Headphones that You Own.
1. Pioneer SE Master-1: Almost as detailed and open as the HD800 but with much more low end. 2. HD800: Not much to say about these that hasn't been said. 3. Philips X2: Use them as wireless Bluetooth (ala the Earstudio ES100 MK2) or Gaming headset with a mic chord.- f1r3fly

RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
Thanks. That's what I found interesting, retailers in the UK are selling the remote for around $35. Those with low shipping costs to the US for some reason can not ship the remote here. The cost of the remote from Thomann to the US after shipping is more than ordering directly from RME (which I...- f1r3fly

RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
Has anybody purchased the new programmable remote for their older ADI-2? Seems the only source I can find is the US ADI website whereas in the UK they have retailers selling them.- f1r3fly

Audio-gd NFB-10SE Thread
Hello everyone, quick question. Has anyone upgraded their NFB-10SE to the newer usb-32dsd module? I emailed Kingwa about the possibility of the upgrade but have not gotten a reply yet. Also, out of curiosity have people compared the 10SE to some of the newer combos out there for pure dac/amp...- f1r3fly
