The Indie Music Appreciation Thread
Not a fan of The Decemberists like many are, but I love Ray Lamontagne, Feist, and Glen Hansard/Marketa Irglova (specifically the Swell Season). Oh and don't forget the greats like Dylan who got the prog /indie /folk genre started. Sent from my (*) using Tapafux.- ExecuteMethod

I'm here, I was just eating some popcorn. Seriously though, I have been so busy with work that I haven't really been following the discussion, and honestly, it's a bit over my head. I am not a designer, and I haven't heard enough hi-fi systems to judge subjectively, and haven't studied enough...- ExecuteMethod

Indie, Singer/Songwriter, and Folk albums... Get in here!

To get the list started, some of my favorites are: Damien Rice - 0,but not so much of 9. David Gray...- ExecuteMethod

I am new to audiophilia, but not electronics. I am currently running an asus Xonar STX --> Ultrasone Pro 750,but the nature of the Xonar adds to the sibilant nature of the highs and seems to further recess the mids on these phones. Not to mention the coldness of the sound. I would like to...- ExecuteMethod

The Modern Progressive Rock Appreciation Thread.
For everyone mentioning Puscifer, definitely check out their "C is for... " album. Absolutely some of their best. Although I haven't had much time to listen to conditions yet. The versions of "Vagina Mine" and "Momma Sed" are so much better than the originals. Also, "The Humbling River" is...- ExecuteMethod
