Meh happened again :( lol.  Had to go over this thread since it upset me again. From the other thread it seems like yotu have to have at least x amount of seconds to do damage, unless the sound is that strong. I had my soundcard at abotu 85 and started music, VLC @ 100% and speakers...

So the new Gibson pairs don't sound as good? Someone here mentioned "Muffled" and I thought the same thing...  Someone said I was crazy and have permanently damaged hearing...

I'm curious how the replacement pairs are faring?  A few pages ago, someone said that all new stock will be glued...?  Is this true? @madwolfa how are your new pairs, still glued? I'm pretty sure someone said their second pair wasn't glued.... I want to return mine, for a new pair...

I think the left ear pain was psychosomatic, especially now that I'm trying this, I feel it again lol! I've had random ringing while I'm at my desk, but it only happeneds for a few seconds, but it's very very rare. I don't really listen to max max volume ever though....  SOngs also do...

hmm... yeah I think it has to do with how the sound is setup, like I was talking about before. The soundstage is really nice, but it doesn't cross over, which is a shame...  Some people notice it, some don't seem to care.

I'm curious if you have switched your cable?  I believe the "Imbalances" were also issues with cables.... Granted, I did believe I also heard random "imbalances," but, remember, the soundstage is setup that if it's on the left, it will be on the left, and if it's on the right, it will be on...

So basically... These aren't eve made by Phillips? They are made by a portion, that was sold called "Woox," and now part of some company called "Gibson International." Does this have anything to do with the "Gibson" company....  

Yeah, my above post is just to mention that there can be healing done on the body, but that requires time, and any damage to the area, can make it worse, and affect the healing time. Some parts of our body, sadly, cannot regenerate by normal means, i.e., arm being chopped off, but the body...

 IEMS are awful for you.  I've heard this from like 3 different music teachers/professors I've had. It's all good though...  Soon technology will be at a point that we can repair ears/hearing.  Give it 20 years and we wont have to deal with problems (probably be able to play music directly...

Yeah, that's what I noticed the other day when using the X2's :).  Good to have realized it now, before I get more serious into audio.  I never really listened that loudly to music, but there have been sometimes the music was pretty loud for sure.  I guess more when I was al ot younger though.

Yeah, I tend to notice I like the sound a little bit louder when using speakers, since there is so much air, but at the same time, I noticed with the HPs on, that your ears are busy trying to cover up some sound and not get hurt on louder sounds, while if you take it down, your ears are able to...
