Which spinfit are you using? My spinfit always stuck on my ears when I remove the cans

Looks legit.. If possible, don't forget to ask for the invoice/receipt as it is required to claim warranty to Senn

    Sennheiser IE800 IEM's

Hard but not impossible :) I have my second purchase of this IEM done by checking the SN and by the images (the first one died after its 6th anniversary). The fakes usually have a somewhat less neat moulding marks and a somewhat stiffer curve of the Senn logos.

Try to match the SN on the packaging barcode with the leather wallet. Can you also post a closer image of the sennheiser logo on one of the cans? Also, a picture of the Y splitter and the L 3.5mm jack.

    Sennheiser IE800 IEM's

Yes, after 6 years of usage mine finally broke, but instead of near the driver unit, it was near the 2.5mm connector. Had the connector head reattached because Sennheiser sated that they accept no repair for IE800 units. But now, the right driver gave up and so does my hope. Anyone selling...

Well in my case, DHL indeed charges more in terms of duties than what the standard post does.

That was also my concern, but that concern went away when I demoed the IE800 about 7 years ago. Unfortunately, one of the drivers was dead before I needed to replace the cable. I was considering to purchase another IE800 in mint condition due to the significant lower price than the IE800S and a...

Interested, since my IE800 no longer works but unfortunately, I'm no longer living in Europe :p It's just broke my heart that the local Sennheiser refused to fix it due to their own 'design'.

Well, it seems that they use rubberised cable instead of kevlar braiding on the IE800S because of the stiffening issue the older IE800 suffers. The cable on my IE800 still went broken, tho... so without adding significant benefit, why should they continue on using kevlar on their IE800S.

    Shure 846 vs. JH Roxanne's

Completely agree with you... one does not compare roxane with se846.... To be honest, when I tried se846, no offence but the bass was boomy and like out of control. I even prefer 535 to 846. I think Roxane is a different level than 846. has anyone heard/know the crystal cable? I heard that...

    Sony's New 2014 flagship IEM - XBA Z5

I've tried this IEM in an exhibition last Saturday.   Really love the sound it produces.   The bass is deep, but not excessive and not overpowering the high and mid.   The treble is not fatiguing yet retain its clarity.   Lightweight and despite the "unique" design it has, it is so...
