iBasso D10 or Fubar IV for Denon D2000

Phonak Audeo?
I think Phonak are still just testing the waters. There are other markets, which I assume, make their own decisions about what the channel is going to be and how to market them. Certainly exposure like this thread will do their reputation no harm, on the whole. Anyway I hope they make their...- Ernie II

cheap IEM advice? (New Zealand)
Hi xacimo there's only one IEM around that has a lifetime warranty and that's the Koss Sparkplug. Not exactly high-end, but the Koss lifetime warranty is serviced in NZ. Try Ferrit: Koss SPARKPLUG Otherwise, everything else only has 1-2 years max, unless you buy one of those chainstore...- Ernie II

Would love some help with choosing a headphone (New Zealand)|| Audio Technica SQ5/ES7 vs MS-1?
Have you considered the iGrado or SR60s. They would be a whole lot more exciting sounding than a pair of A-Ts. The iGrado synergises well with the Fiio E3. I know, I've had that setup. The iGrado would work well too, being a behind the neck design, they work well with glasses. Still, the SR60...- Ernie II

Is headphone retailing a lose-lose situation?
Having had a retail store myself with a reasonable range of headphones and amps, I don't think you guys realise just how much overhead is involved. I don't think greed is an issue. Survival is. And with regards to Jaben, great, but I think there's some pretty significant drivers in the market...- Ernie II

What amp matches Denon D5000?
Perreaux SHX2 isn't a bad option, nice n warm sound with great bass grip, especially with D5000s. A-B'd the D5000s (in local hifi store) against k701s on the SXH2, bigger and more expansive soundstage. Not coloured at all. All the sounds of valve with solid state control of mosfets. It could...- Ernie II

USB turn table recommendatons.
This will enable you to plug in any turntable and record. I can't say how much because I'm all the way down in Godzone, but should be versatile enough...- Ernie II
