Any old fart head-fi'ers still around?
I just realized I'm in the 20+ club, too! @SiBurning I remember going to your house and mangling a pair of KSC35s with a heat gun in hopes of trying to upgrade the cables.- erikzen

Any old fart head-fi'ers still around?
So my wife just gave me back a Sony MD MZ-R70 that she stole from me about 15 years ago, but it's missing the battery. Anybody know what the replacement is? I'm finding contradictory info online.- erikzen

Started playing and...- erikzen

Guitar-fi anyone?
Quote: $500 for a refret seems a bit steep to me, especially for a guitar without binding. The fact that it's a vintage piece shouldn't make the job any harder or more expensive, but you do want a very experienced luthier to do the job. There is always a premium for a skilled technician...- erikzen

Guitar-fi anyone?
I recently picked up a Zoom G3, primarily for practicing with headphones. However, the unit comes with tons of features and I'm really happy with the purchase. At $150, it may be the best audio purchase I've ever made in terms of bang for the buck. It has 22 amp sims with cabs, and 94 effects...- erikzen
